Precision Resistance Thermometers

Our precision thermometers are produced by hand in Fulda, Germany. They are used for precise temperature measurement or as calibration standards. The resistance thermometers have been optimised for fixed-point calibration and offer a robust alternative to the very sensitive ITS-90 standard thermometers.

 

High-temperature Pt100H

Precision resistance thermometer, model: eXacal Pt100H. With metal cover and hand-finished 100 Ohm ceramic resistance sensor.

Low-temperature Pt100L

Precision resistance thermometer, model: eXacal Pt100L. This thermometer is optimised for fixed-point calibration up to the triple point of argon. The internal construction is the same as for standard thermometers (SPRTs).

  • Temperature range: -190°C to 230°C

  • With SPRT hand grip for low temperatures
  • Low uncertainties: between 11mK and 13mK

Precision Thermocouples

The eXacal precision thermocouples are used as transfer standards, for precise temperature measurement or as calibration standards. The thermocouples are noble-metal precision thermocouples which can be manufactured in two lengths, with or without a stainless-steel reference junction. They have been optimised for use in fixed-point calibration. eXacal thermocouples can, of course, also be used for any other form of temperature measurement.
